Red Hat Summer Camp Brno is a project for high school students to learn more about the work and culture at Red Hat, Open Source values, modern technologies and meet new people to create an application by the end of the project. Currently, the project is for students located in the Czech Republic.
During the project students: - Learn how to design and code their application and then sell it to investors; - Learn about the culture inside the company and how different people with common values work together and create magic; - Upgrade their creativity and communication skills to a completely new level;
The first run of the project took place from 2nd till 13th of August 2021 (online).
During the session we wanted to: - Introduce the Red Hat Summer Camp Brno; - Share how we came up with the idea and how we made it come true; - Compare the expectation and reality; - Share with you the feedback from students and our teachers; Introduce future plans;
